1. Download mods Only download mods from trusted sources to avoid errors and malware.

2. Place the files
   1. Open the launcher and click Game folder (or go manually to: %appdata%\HLauncher\UserData).
   2. Find the Mods folder. If it does not exist, create it yourself.
   3. Move the downloaded mod files (usually .zip or .jar) into this folder.
3. Enable the mod in-game

   In Hytale, mods are not enabled automatically for every world. You need to apply them to a specific save:

   1. Launch the game and open the world list (Singleplayer).
   2. Right-click the world you want to open its settings context menu.
   3. In the list of available mods, enable the ones you want to use.
   4. Click Save or Apply.
4. Launch Enter the world. If the mods are enabled correctly, they will load while the map is loading.
